About me.
I am an integrative counsellor who is passionate about helping people to become their true selves. I am a student member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I adhere to their ethical guidelines and their core principles. For further information on this please go to http://www.bacp.co.uk/ethicalframework.
I integrate CBT, person centred, attachment and mindfulness into my practice. I adapt my therapy to suit each individual client’s needs and will work closely with the client on what their aims and reasons for coming to counselling may be.
Sometimes in life we can feel lost, lonely, anxious or depressed. I explore the client’s feelings with them in a safe, supportive and non judgemental space. The client always takes the lead in what they wish to talk about in each session. The client has the ability to grow and self-actualise with the counsellor offering a secure base in which to do so. Sometimes we need a little guidance and encouragement.
