Samantha Flanagan MBACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. (PGCert. PGDip. Msc)
Hi. I’m Sam. I offer a warm welcome to counselling and endeavour to help you to feel safe and secure in my therapeutic space. Email me today for enquiries or an appointment: Samanthaf747@gmail.com. I will answer within 24 hours.
I am now offering online and telephone counselling as well as face to face. Please see my covid policy on the contract page for further details on safety during your face to face session.
These continue to be difficult times for us all. With this in mind I am offering online sessions at reduced rates via Zoom. I’m also able to offer sessions on an ‘as and when’ basis depending on your needs. This means that there is no weekly commitment for you.
A recent client offers this testimonial:
“I reached out to Sam when I realised I was struggling to cope with the challenges life threw up every day. Her calmness, clear guidance and wise words finally taught me how to be kinder to myself, and helped me push back the negative voice in my head that had kept me down for so long. Sam has allowed me to take back control and see myself and my world in a more positive light. She has changed my life and I will be forever grateful.“
Life is never simple. It can feel messy, complicated and uncertain. Speaking to someone who will not judge you in anyway can feel very helpful.
You might need help moving forward or maybe you feel stuck. Maybe a past event or trauma is keeping you unable to get on with your life in a healthy and fulfilling way. It may be that a relationship that you are in is feeling confusing and without boundaries. Whatever you are experiencing I will listen and together we can help you to gain clarity, insight and a way to move forward.
If you are unsure what to expect from counselling then please take a look at my question and answer page that might help you to decide if counselling with me is for you.
I offer counselling in:
Grief and loss
Divorce and Relationships
Psychedelic Integration Therapy
I’m an Integrative Counsellor and this means that I work with you and adapt my counselling to suit your needs. Everyone is unique and everyone needs something different to help with issues and concerns.
Taking a leap of faith.
I understand that coming to counselling can feel daunting.
Counselling can help with many issues but it takes a leap of faith to start the process.
The first session is a ‘getting to know each other’ session where you can talk through what is going on for you. You can tell me what your problems are and I can tell you how I can help you. I will do my best to put you at ease and I reassure you that everything is confidential. Please see my questions and answers page for further information.
I charge £45 for a 60 minute session for face to face counselling and £40 for online zoom sessions. Payment can be in cash or by bank transfer. I also offer discounts where needed for students.
